2014 Clan Egan Rally in Los Angeles

The 2014 Clan Egan Rally was held in the Los Angeles area. There were many popular and famous family attractions in the area, but also more Irish connections than might generally be expected.
Along with the activities on the schedule, visitors were encouraged to extend their visit to see other well-known local sights like the GettyCenter (Art museum and grounds on hillside overlooking city), the Griffith Observatory, and Universal Studios Hollywood.
Embassy Suites Brea was the host hotel for the Rally. Lots of attractions were within reasonable driving distance and the group rates were very reasonable for the Los Angeles area, especially including a cooked-to-order breakfast. All rooms were suites with a separate living room that could accommodate up to 4 people. Fine banquet and meeting rooms were also available. The lobby had an Egyptian theme that wasn’t exactly Irish but still added a flair. Great shopping and dining options surrounded the hotel.
In addition, historical studies on Egan and Agin ancestors in the United States were presented prior to the banquet.
The best feature of all Rallies was the opportunity to socialize and get to know close and distant relatives better.
